Staying Alive #365

So welcome to my first post. I hope that this will be a way of me keeping everyone updated on my situation, a way of me documenting my journey, a source of reference,& inspiration hopefully.

The idea of a blog was suggested to me by my awesome sister a few weeks back then the idea was suggested again days later in conversation with a fellow cancer fighter. I've always had a love of the written word & photoraphs so my interest was peaked.

2 very poignant things happened that day that sparked the birth of #365.

The first was I realised (via facebook time hop ) thatvtvwas ecatlyb1 year (365 days) to the day that I'd first taken ill with symptoms that lead to my diagnosis.

Secondly I she my Oncologist for a prognosis ( life expectancy ) I know this seems morbid but practically its a necessary question.

Anyhow the answer was 365 days {12 months, 1 year) at best.

So #365 three very poignant digits it seemed only right.

Check in tomorrow to hear about last weeks hospital stay & my London trip.
